Synopsis

The first child of Ursula and Barry. He's the Heir to Alamos Town. His main Pokemon is an Alolan Raichu named Honey. Stubborn, petulant, and smart, Jet is an easy talker with a narcissistic attitude. Jet dyes his natural blond hair, bright pink to look like Ursula after he got tired of hearing his mother always say, "You look just like your father." While he doesn't have a good relationship with either of his parents, he loves Ursula more than he loves Barry.

Personality

Jet is not an easy person to get along with, he's very stubborn, short-tempered, immature, shortsighted and over-emotional, often to the point of throwing tantrums and indirectly or intentionally hurting others. All of these problems stem from his upbringing in a toxic home environment, leading to most of his issues and insecurities. Even when he was younger, Jet could tell that his father didn't really like his mom, he could tell that his dad didn't really like him. Which isn't fair, it's not like Jet asked to be born. All of his attempts to have a relationship with Barry were always shot down, or cut short when Barry would make excuses to leave, so Jet spent most of his time with his mother. But Jet didn't really like his mother either, she was weak for his father, and she was a pushover. She at least loved him, though, he had to give her that. She liked to sing and dance with him, and even though she was no longer a Coordinator- she liked to put on a show for him. And she's part of the reason Jet likes stillness, quiet. Quiet made him feel safe, it was always quiet and calm when it was just him and his mom.

Backstory

Although it didn't have to be, like everything concerning Jettison Symond Bennett- his birth was traumatizing and more dramatic than it needed to be. After eighteen hours, Ursula was finally convinced by Sonny and Dawn to have surgery, especially since it had been a full eight hours since her doctors suggested the surgery. Jet was born to Ursula and Barry Bennett at Alamos Town's only hospital, Alamos Trinity @ 2:22 A.M.

Jet grew up in LaMarche Manor, a separated estate from where his mother Ursula grew up. His grandfather, the vain Baron Alberto, had insisted that Ursula and Barry live separated from the main part of the family as Barry was not a LaMarche. Though Ursula has assured Jet that once she becomes Baroness, they will inhert the main house. He doesn't remember much of his early childhood, that or he's blocked most of it out.

For most of his life, Barry was never really home. He was always working as a Frontier Brain or traveling around the world for new experiences. Jet never really thought twice about it until he was about eight years old and realized that most people's fathers weren't gone for eight months out of the year. He remembers bringing it up often to his mother, but Ursula wouldn't really give him an answer, which irritated him. Parents were supposed to know everything, parents were supposed to be around. He was supposed to be able to see his dad whenever he wanted. He didn't really understand why it was so hard for them to meet simple expectations.

But that was also when he realized just how much of a jerk his father was. The only times Barry could really be bothered to be home were far between and unexpected. And he never really stayed longer than two weeks before leaving again. When Jet was younger, and stupid, he'd always loved to hear about his father's adventures and was happy to receive the simple, cheap souvenirs from whatever far off region he'd been in. He'd also liked meeting Barry's friends, who very curiously, only came around when his mother was working on one of her movies or shows.

And even though Barry wasn't home often, Jet still enjoyed his time with his mother. No matter what, she always made time for him. Like when every night before bed when they went though a skin routine together, or when she dyed his hair whatever color he wanted for the week. And she would always bring him to her contests or on trips to see her friends, his uncle Sonny and aunt Dawn. That was how Jet met his best friend Spinner, and the love of his life Davina.

As Jet got older, he began to notice the cracks throughout his life and they created an unsettling anger within him. When Jet was nearly twelve, he left on his journey to meet up with Spinner and discover who he was outside of his parents influence. But even after a few years of being on the road, he Fears: he's actually gotten worse.
